Shades Of Blue last week in London

The Contemporary Ceramics Centre in London is hosting a special exhibit as part of the London Design Festival ending October 5th called Shades of Blue. Ceramics and the colour blue are inherently linked to each other, blue coming from coloring oxide cobalt which has been used since the origins of ceramics. The contemporary pieces cover several blue tints. The exhibit shows pieces by Daphne Carnegy, Sophie Cook, Jane Cos, Jeremy Nichols and Kate Scott, with a range of techniques like surface treatment, decoration and glazing. Visit the Contemporary Ceramics Centre website for more information.
